A trailer jack is a professional lifting and supporting tool specially designed for trailers and semi-trailers. Different from ordinary car jacks, it features a higher rated load, a more stable base structure and interfaces that are better adapted to trailer chassis.It is widely used in scenarios such as trailer maintenance and tire replacement, traction docking, and outdoor operation support. Classified by driving mode,includes hand-cranked(side crank/top crank),hydraulic(manual/foot-operated), electric (lead screw/hydraulic), and foldable rotating types, with load capacities ranging from 1 to 20 tons. It can meet the usage needs of all types of trailers including light camping trailers, medium freight trailers and heavy engineering semi-trailers, and is a core essential accessory for trailer matching.
Selected high-strength and durable materials ensure the product's load-bearing capacity and corrosion resistance from the source. The materials of the core components are as follows:
Base / Support Head: Thickened cold-rolled steel plate / cast steel, wear-resistant and pressure-resistant, suitable for different ground operation needs;
Hydraulic core components: Precision seamless steel pipes + high-quality hydraulic seals, leak-proof and pressure-resistant, ensuring the stability of the hydraulic system;
Screw rod / transmission components: 45# quenched and tempered steel, precision ground, smooth lifting without jamming;
3.Standardized Production Process of Trailer Jacks
Adhering to the production principles of refinement, standardization and full-process controllability, every jack is manufactured through a number of core processes to ensure consistent quality.
1. Raw Material Cutting: High-precision CNC cutting equipment is adopted for accurate steel cutting to ensure the dimensional consistency of all components.
2. Stamping :At room temperature, pressure is applied to blanks such as metal sheets, strips and pipes by stamping dies to cause plastic deformation or separation, thus producing stamped parts with specific shapes, dimensions and performance characteristics. This process features high mass production efficiency, stable part precision, high material utilization rate, as well as excellent strength and rigidity of the finished parts.
3. Welding Processing: Automated robotic welding combined with meticulous manual touch-up welding ensures no cold welding or missing welds, with smooth and firm weld seams.
4. Precision Machining: CNC lathes and milling machines process core components such as lead screws and interfaces to ensure mating accuracy.
5. Thread Rolling:During the rolling process, the metal fibers extend continuously along the thread profile without fiber breakage caused by cutting. The tensile strength and yield strength of the finished thread can be increased by 20%~30%, with superior fatigue and wear resistance, which perfectly meets the stress requirements of trailer jacks.
7. Plastic Injection:Injection-molded Handle: Dimensional tolerance can be controlled within grade IT8~IT10, and for precision components up to grade IT6~IT7, with a low surface roughness (Ra0.8~Ra3.2μm), which meets the assembly interchangeability requirements of the handle accessories for trailer jacks.
8. Assembly and Commissioning: Professional technicians assemble in accordance with standards and test the lifting, rotation, folding and other functions of each unit one by one to ensure smooth operation.
9. Initial Inspection and Warehousing: Conduct initial inspections on the assembled finished products for appearance, dimensions and functions, and only qualified products can be warehoused for subsequent inspection.
4.Supported by professional testing equipment, quality is guaranteed throughout the entire process.
Load Testing Equipment:Conduct rated load and overload simulation tests on finished products to verify load-bearing stability and eliminate substandard load performance issues.
Salt Spray Test Chamber:Simulate high-salt-spray environments in maritime shipping and coastal areas, and conduct salt spray tests for more than 48 hours to ensure that the surface anti-corrosion coating meets the standard.
Fatigue Testing Equipment:Perform tens of thousands of fatigue tests on core functions such as lifting and rotation to verify product durability.
Dimensional Accuracy Tester:High-precision equipment including laser diameter gauges and calipers is used to control the dimensional accuracy of components and ensure assembly compatibility.
We implement professional testing throughout the entire process and conduct full-chain quality control from R&D and production to quality assurance. This ensures that our trailer jacks are not only adaptable to various usage scenarios worldwide, but also deliver stable, safe and durable product experiences for customers. You can count on our uncompromising quality!
